TechCrunch has unveiled the 2026 Startup Battlefield 200, its annual handpicked list of the 200 most promising early-stage startups from around the world, selected from thousands of applications across every industry and geography. These founders earn a coveted spot to exhibit at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, taking place October 13–15 at Moscone West in San Francisco, where they will pitch live in front of top global VCs and compete for $100,000 equity-free and the iconic Disrupt Cup. The cohort spans AI, climate, health, fintech, robotics, consumer, and more—companies shaping the future across major categories. Google for Startups and SAP are premier sponsors. The top 20 finalists will be revealed live on Day 1 of Disrupt. Alumni of Startup Battlefield have gone on to build category-defining companies like Dropbox, Cloudflare, and Discord, collectively raising over $32 billion and achieving 250 exits. The full list includes startups in agtech, automotive, biotech, cybersecurity, e-commerce, edtech, energy, enterprise tech, fintech, government, health, HR, logistics, manufacturing, marketing, real estate, smart cities, and space/defense. Selected startups will receive time-sensitive next steps via email. TechCrunch encourages VCs, tech enthusiasts, and founders to register for Disrupt 2026 before prices increase in September.
