Apple is expected to unveil its first foldable iPhone, the "iPhone Ultra," at the September 9 event, marking the company's entry into the foldable market over five years after Samsung's debut. The announcement comes as Tim Cook hands off the CEO role to former Vice President of Hardware Engineering John Ternus, fueling high expectations for Apple's new form factor. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, early testers report a premium feel, a 5.5-inch cover display that expands to 7.8 inches when unfolded, and a design that fits nicely into a pocket. The cameras, according to Gurman, act as eyes for Siri, capturing low-resolution visual information for the "Visual Intelligence" feature, not for photos or video.
