Glow exits stealth at $1.2B to challenge endpoint security

Glow, a cybersecurity startup founded by former Meta and Snowflake executives, emerged from stealth as a unicorn with a $180 million Series A, betting that AI is reshaping how enterprises secure employee devices. The Palo Alto-based company on Wednesday announced an all-equity round at a $1.2 billion valuation, backed by Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, Redpoint Ventures, Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective, and Holly Ventures. The investment makes Glow one of the latest cybersecurity startups to achieve unicorn status before publicly disclosing revenue. Glow is building an AI-native endpoint security platform that monitors and controls software, AI agents, and developer tools running on employee laptops, servers, and connected devices. The platform uses specialized AI agents to continuously map enterprise environments, assess risk in real time, and enforce security policies. As attackers increasingly deploy generative AI for phishing, malware, and sophisticated exploits—intensified by Anthropic’s Mythos AI model demonstrating advanced vulnerability exploitation—Glow aims to prevent risky software from entering environments rather than detecting threats after they emerge. Founded in 2025, Glow’s leadership includes CEO Roi Tiger (former Meta VP of engineering), co-founders Omer Singer (ex-Snowflake cybersecurity strategy head), Ophir Arie (ex-Claroty R&D VP), and Arnon Joseph (ex-Meta engineering leader). COO Emily Heath (former CISO at United Airlines and Docusign, ex-Cyberstarts partner) also joins. The startup already has paying customers in healthcare, retail, and financial services, with deployments spanning tens of thousands of devices per global organization. Glow uses AI models from Anthropic and Google’s Gemini via Amazon Bedrock, plus proprietary software for enterprise context. The 100-person team (70% in Israel, rest in U.S.) competes with CrowdStrike, Microsoft, SentinelOne, and Palo Alto Networks, betting that AI-native endpoint security becomes a distinct category as enterprises grapple with AI-driven threats.
